I had the honor of presenting to future Japanese ATC students through the International Programs at Green River College.

We explored aviation, the importance of communication, and the differences between military and civilian operations. We also discussed the stressors and decision-making happening in the flight deck and how understanding those dynamics helps strengthen teamwork and communication across every environment.

One of my favorite parts was seeing the curiosity, thoughtful questions, and shared excitement for the future of aviation. Opportunities like this remind me that aviation has a unique way of connecting people across cultures and creating meaningful conversations.
